The National History Bee is an interscholastic buzzer-based history
quiz competition conducted solely by The National History Bee and
Bowl LLC. The HISTORY® logo is a registered trademark of A&E Television
Networks, LLC. The National History Bee Middle School Championship
will be telecast on HISTORY® in 2012."
NO ENTRY FEE REQUIRED TO ENTER OR WIN FOR SIXTH (6th) SEVENTH (7th) and EIGHTH (8th) GRADE STUDENTS FROM REGISTERED MIDDLE SCHOOLS WHO RESIDE AND ATTEND CLASS WITHIN THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES AND THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA ONLY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. Middle Schools must complete the online registration form located at http://ms.historybee.com/registration/ by 12/7/2011 in order for any student to participate. The Competition is open to students who are currently enrolled in and attending a registered Middle School (as defined above), who are a permanent legal U.S. resident currently residing in the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia and who will not have reached the age of 16 years of age on or before 5/1/2012. The Intramural Bee must be held between 12/8/2011 and 12/22/2011; and the Regional online Qualifying Exams must be taken between 01/2/2012 and 01/13/2012.
